Covid-19 Policy

What we are doing to keep audiences safe

Correct as of 25/11/2021

We are working hard to ensure every one of our audience members feels safe and comfortable in the theatre. We will be reviewing these protocols every month and will lift them as soon as it is safe to do so.

As we are an intimate theatre venue, we must take extra precautions to ensure the safety of performers, staff, and audience members in our space. We ask that all theatre attendees read and take note of the below measures prior to their visit to the Finborough Theatre:

Our staff will be wearing masks for your safety as well as their own, and hand sanitiser is readily available from stations throughout the building.

Audience members will be temperature-checked upon their arrival at the theatre. We ask that audience members arrive no later than 15 minutes before the show to allow time for everyone to be checked in and seated safely.

AUDIENCE MEMBERS WILL NEED TO DEMONSTRATE PROOF OF DOUBLE VACCINATION OR A NEGATIVE TEST WITHIN THE LAST 48 HOURS OR EVIDENCE OF INFECTION IN THE PAST 180 DAYS ON ARRIVAL AT THE THEATRE OR THEY WILL BE REFUSED ENTRANCE. This policy will not apply to Yes So I Said Yes.

Due to the layout of the Finborough Theatre and audience proximity to performers, some of whom are vulnerable, we need audiences to wear a face covering throughout their visit including during the performance, except those audience members with a medical exemption. We can provide spare masks for audience members upon request.

No drinks are allowed in the auditorium at any time.

We have reduced our audience capacity by 10 and temporarily increased our ticket prices to reflect this.

Parties will be seated one at a time to allow for social distancing where possible. Once signed in, venue staff will direct audience members to their seats on a first-come first-served basis.

We strongly encourage booking tickets online in advance, and prefer contactless/card payments where possible.
